Knights in the Wood

Knights in the Wood is a minimalist fantasy game about a leisurely hexcrawl with a party of questionable knights seeking deeds, glory, and/or doom.

In these pages you will find a guide to creating your knight and a concise set of rules for travel, survival, and combat. The GM section provides a set of random tables to help get your game started, as well as a simple tarot-based system to spark encounters and events.

KitW is suitable for short or long-term campaigns. It can support a serious tone, but works best with a dash of comedy.
